SUPPORTING BUDDING ATHLETES
After the roaring success of Khel Yatra #4, several budding athletes among the 300 participants were identified by the officials. To support these talented kids, we continued to fund their use of the stadium for practice and a coach to allow for future inter-club meets. Unfortunately, this was put on hold due to Covid, but we look forward to continuing to support these kids in the future.
SUMAN MOHAPATRA CLOCKS RECORD SPEED AT KHEL YATRA#4
Suman Mohapatra awed the officials and spectators at Khel Yatra#4 when he speed past all others in both 100m and 200m sprints.
HASIBOR SHIEKH AND SUMAN MOHAPATRA SCOUTED FOR STATE & DISTRICT TEAMS AFTER KHEL YATRA #1
Hasibor Sheikh of Naya Savera was just 15 years and Suman Mohapatra of Divine Youth Foundation was almost 11years old when they took part in their first ever track competition at Khel Yatra#1. They awed the Athletic Association Officials who immediately scouted them for state and district level teams.
